Sterling Dragonscale Sneak Peek

I spent a few hours working on my latest bracelet. It's the super slinky dragonscale weave of chainmaille, and I've constructed it of sterling silver. I'm waiting on the clasp to get here, but here's a nice sneak peek to tempt you.

It's fall!

My boyfriend Alex and I went out to the Cheekwood botanical garden and museum of art here in Nashville last weekend. It's gorgeous here in Tennessee with the leaves all turning colors. It was a smidge too cold to stay outside too long, but luckily it's both a garden and an art museum. The main exhibit they have going on now is Fabergé. He made some gorgeous things in his lifetime. My favorites in the exhibit were little jeweled flowers. I would love to make little jeweled flowers in the future.

On the way out we saw a lone white tail doe standing among the trees. Here's a picture of her. Above is a bunch of yellow fallen ginkgo biloba leaves.
